Welcome! Glad to have ya. Sounds like a sweet truck! Post some pics. With that big of lift and tires, yer def due for lots of upgrades to yer tranny. Build it stout the first time so you dont have to do this again. You could probably upgrade to the 5R100 tranny I believe that is in the newer superduties. Heard they are a lil stronger than the 4r100's I think. Dont get me wrong, the 4r's can be built very strong. Someone else might know more.

thanks to all. anyone got any ideas for me about replacing my tranny? needed upgrades? aftermarket parts? billet parts?

No need to upgrade the tranny. I'm running basically the same truck you are. 06 4x4 Harley long bed with the stock sized 20's on it. The 5r110 is a tough bugger. I have changed my transfer case shift motor once though.

So 95stroker, is the SCT the way to go? Truck had a edge juice with attitude on it when I bought it. Not sure if I even want it on there.
What does the upgraded intercooler boots do?
