Help Needed HELP WITH COOLANT FILTER INSTALL

hello. I have hopefully a easy question I had to buy a new W/P and I could not reinstall my coolant filter on my 7.3 because the outlet where the filter gets the water from has a square drive head to it. its smaller than a 3/8 but bigger than a 1/4????????? what is it, whats it called, and where can I get it....

Check your favorite hardware store for some key stock. 5/16"x 1" will work.
Stick it in the plug and grab it with a wrench or 8 point socket.
