High EGT's

When installing this filter what do you do with the air sensor and the filter restriction guage that are both mounted on stock air box?

Most just add it to their tool boxes. You can also drill a hole in the top
of the filter plastic and put it there.. I found a site once that a person
put up with how they did it.

I do normal street driving and plan to replace it around 15k.

I installed this filter and I can hear a loud suction noise when lugging and when let off. Is this normal?

yes the air box doesn't muffle the sound like it did but I'm sure its breathing better hows the egts now

Better, still have to get an aftermarket exhaust, one step at a time.

You will also hear surge if you have it... Need an ATS housing or WW to cure that...

ebpv valve malfunction well also cause high egts and a lack of power.
