High Oil pressure after oil change?

Did an oil change today after about 5500 miles. Truck ran kinda rough after immediate start-up (as the oil flowed back into the system) I noted the oil pressure was pretty high. unfortuantely, i didn't get a picture of how high it was. It seemed to run ok (I drove it easy about a mile to dispose of my old oil) but after about a minute of idling once i parked, the RPM's fluctuated higher and low, like it wanted to die but wasn't sure (?).

Seems like just a fluke, but wanted to see if anyone with more knowledge than myself had any input. Thanks!

The oil pressure sending unit on our trucks is pretty much an on/off you'll need a gauge to show for sure.

X2. its a idot light, its either up er down. Id say check your level (on level ground) or wrong oil.

I had *just* put in 15 quarts of the same oil I always use. Rotella 15W-40. On level ground.
