hub ??

can someone tell me on the '03s if the factory hub is COARSE or FINE thread?

need to get one ordered and am not sure if it is the 515020 OR the 515025 - fine or course!!

never herd of fine or coarse. when i ordered my Warn hubs, there was only one choice....

I am with atk, never heard of any threads on the hubs. Mine only have a snap ring holding them on.

if you don't have to re-order new studs, i therefore want to re-use mine and need to know if they are fine or coarse cuz i do not want to get the wrong kind.....

i know of the snap ring!!

you won't know until you pull it off. and good luck pulling the old studs out.
look at powerstroke shop for the whole kit.

You want the studs that hold on the SPINDLE, correct? I think they are coarse threads as they go into a casting and bolt up using coarse thread nuts.

yes dave-
that is to what i am referring......BUT that brings up a good point (question in my mind) - do i have to replace the whole thing or just the center bearing part? cuz i think that would be cheaper - huh?

which bearing is shot, wheel bearing or bearing axle shaft rides on???? you should beable to reuse your old studs if you can get them out....

you can not change out the individual bearings.

the whole hub gets replaced. its a unit bearing.

you will need all these bits and pieces

Dp is right, it will also save you time messing with the studs....
