i want my turbo louder

i've heard there is a way to make my turbo louder, any body have any info.

as for spool nosies, go with a open element airfilter, to many to list.

say bro, thanx for the help, but my sig. will tell you i've got all that. i've heard there is some sort of silencer plate or something you can remove. mine is loud now, i just really dig the turbo whistle

From what I have heard and been told, the silencer ring on the 2003 turbo's come off easy.

2004 and up would have to be machined off

Have you done the Zoodad mod yet? (aka, cold air intake modification)

If you want that Loud turbo whistle, swap the compressor wheel out for an 03 style wheel, or get an 03 turbo. It will be quite a bit louder than your 06 turbo.

I was gonna say, go buy an '03 with a 4" exhaust. You'll get all the whistle you want. But Keanoknick's way is a bit cheaper.

cut the cat. and muffler out of the picture and it will whistle a lot louder
