infamous oil leak at the dipstick

Got a part # for those interested directly from my receipt :D

FORD #F4TZ*6751*B "connector"

:dunno why they call it a connector:confused:

well, I finally got around to mine today....
took it too the car wash and cleaned it up underneath really good...

I tightened the nut down some more with the largest pair of pliers
I had....wasnt happy, so I fabbed up this since I didnt have anything
even remotely large enough for the nut....got another turn on it, and it got really tight....

started the truck up and let it idle some, and it started leaking again,
this time from the tube itself...see here

there is a small oring that fits in a groove on the dipstick insert going into the elbow on the pan....found one close too the right size, and all seems good so far....
