33,000 miles on your 06
It's about worn out. :lmao
I just passed 11,000 on ours.
You might need a replacement engine with that high of mileage.
:D

I Love my 06 F-250 the best truck I have ever owned. I wouldnt give it up for anything. She just passed 70,000 mi last week and still running like the day I bought her new in December 05.

Of course my PMS hasn't helped her stay stock.:D.

Just spoke with my cousin, he has been a diesel mechanic for over 40 years.

Said I should have got to him b-4 I purchased this truck cause of the notorious fact of injector problems and dealer loopholes.

He also said the 6.0 is the worst motor ford put out to date.

He said he'll comb it w/ a fine brush , change out all filters and use a real supreme motor oil. Needs to be changed every 3000.

Went to a job 75 highway miles north today , ran great, looks like I'm eyeballing between 11-14 m.p.g. though.

NEED mo mpg , can it happen?

I change the oil every 5,000 miles as most of us on here do.
The 05 & 06 have stayed together real good, there have been
some with problems, but I am very pleased with my 6.0.

Understood.....Im thinking positive . Although he did ask me how my luck was☺

Are there any 2008 certified FORD DEALER diesel mech.'s here ?

I asked for an updated warrantee work order on my new vin and it had 1 injector replacement and steering damper just b-4 delivery. .. NOT BAD.

Also , previous owner was a water well - driller contractor in jersey and I see all new bushings , ball j's and king pinnys...typical field rat.

First thing I did when I looked at it I popped the hood, checked the door jams, and did a crawl of the under carrige.I liked what i saw. Then I took it for a hell ride , engaged HI 4 & LO 4 went thru all the gears like a gentleman .I liked what I had felt.

Not dissin, just pissin.
