My dealer says he sure likes the sound of my truck. Would you buy a new one so I can give your truck to my dad. Sure I will. LOL

I did gut my kitty later, But the main point I was trying to say was my kitty pipe measured 3.5" on both ends even at the flange. and the delete pipe is 3.5" on both ends but about 4" back from the flange it is choked down to 2.5" and it really didnt have to be.
Why it is made this way I dont know.
I do know the kitty does restrict the flow. but they could have made this pipe better.

i really dont recommed CUTTING the stocke exhaust up...
you never know when some DEALER wank is gonna give you
a hard time about it.

you can buy the cat delete (test) pipe from mbrp (Diesel Performance Parts - Home)
which will allow you to unbolt the cat and bolt IN the
test pipe...you can make the exchange in about 20min !

Ive dont this on three different truck...its very easy and
requires NO cutting.

excellent Idea.

On the 06 60 is all stock exaust 4''?

no. the stock exhaust from the turbo to the tail pipe is 3.5" (or is it 3 ?)

most of the after market exhausts mfg offer a down pipe in 3.5 or 4.
most dont go to 4" until AFTER the cat, and there are even 5" (after
cat) offerings.

youre looking at INSTANT mpg when you reset it on the fly/hi-way !
if you can keep the rpms at 1800 youll get 19-20 but youll get RUN OVER !

steady cruising set at 70mph will net you 18+ on the interstate

(all these # are EMPTY, interstate travel)

Last trip was @ approx. 1800 rpm @ 70 mph 50 mile run ....LEVEL ROAD No passing in hammer . The fuel gauge dropped considerably. Both ways . I basically RUN job to job 10-15 miles apart all day long babysitting.

No worrys ....we'll get one lap at a time Bushy
