I really dig the new Rancho 9000XL's they are choice with the silver coating instead of the plain white.

Looks real good!! I just did the same thing myself yesterday after having my rear end completely out for a rebuild. Everything inside the pumpkin was toast. When I got it back, I wire wheeled the pumpking and axles and sprayed a few coats of semi-gloss black engine paint and put the '08 cover on. What a difference! Guys you need to do this, you won't regret it. The '08 cover is much more stout than the ones we have.
