It will have to grow on me. The 1997-2003 F150 never did. I hope this truck does. When Ford introduced the 99 SD it was awesome out of the box.

In reality, the engine isn't what I thought it would be. I heard rumors of 400+ hp and 700ft/lbs...

I was just at a Dodge Diesel dyno on Saturday and the 02-05 Cummins with little modification were getting 350hp and 700 ft/lbs...

The truck is ugly as hell. I wish they would have kept the current body style and trashed the friggin 6.0

My first post :)

I just saw an ad on TV for the GMC Sierra and I was dissappointed. They are advertising 380hp, and 650 ft/lbs of torque. This dogs 350 hp and 650 ft/lbs of torque the new 6.4 is boasting about. I heard the Cummin's will be rated up there also, above the Ford. Seems like we'll be in LAST place yet again, even with our NEW motor.

Ford needs to step to the plate, deliever a sound swing and knock one out of the park. I had heard rumors of 400+ hp and 700+ ft/lbs of torque and that seems to be where they need to be with the 2007.

I'll bet by 2015 our diesels will be rated above 500hp and 1,000 ft/lbs, won't that be the day?! 2000 The ratings were 235/520 give or take a few and now they are 350/650. At this rate, in 9 years we should be seeing #'s in the range of 650hp and 850 ft/lbs of tq. SO by 2015 I think that is where we will be lol.

I thought the new Duracrap was ugly, The first thing to do to the front end would be to smash it into a cement wall. I'll keep my 03 for a bit. Remember the Aztek?........................

The red knob under the dash is a fuel cutoff switch. It is there for development purposes only.

From what I've read, the 07's will start production soon, but they're carryovers from the 06's with some new trims and tweaks. The "new" one, the "ugly" one will probably start being produced early next year (possibly January/February) as a 2008 and would probably be on lots shortly after that. Just keep checking back here, I'm sure someone will be updating this.
