well, i just remembered something, don't think an AIC would work with your manny tranny, only autos if i am correct.

They work fine with manual transmissions.

hey roy, a good item to go along with your winch would be an AIC.

when i am winchin' on a INOP unit, i hit the charge/protect button on the AIC, and it revs up the PSD to 1300 and keeps the batteries charged up.

the winch also seems to pull alittle better to. just a thought.

Hey Stephen, I've had an AIC on mine for a good while and it is great. :tounge

i luv mine too roy boy. gets the PSD all warm and toasty on those :freezing mornings.

Like it ever gets :freezing down there.

Hardly got above 15* F today here.

I use mine for jump starting stuff and for running all the lights in the service trailer, etc, etc.

hey, it gets cold down here sometimes!!

the AIC was the best 150.00 i ever spent on my truck. plus its got pretty lights and when its own it makes the PSD sound like a frickin jet engine :sweet

I have an 9000lb warn and it has pulled two trucks out of the mud at the same time. I did have to use dual snatch blocks. (an H2 and a toyota pick up both resting on the rockers) Really it's not all in the size of the winch it's how you have it rigged up. My 9000lb on a single line has no problem pulling out my Superduty when I get it stuck. (8200lbs with no passengers)
The only problem with the big winches is they draw alot of power. My max pull is about 75ft before I start to run low on juice even with the truck on high idle.
