when you described what had happened that is what i thought it was... i have heard of some people getting it and then they get it AGAIN a few years later...keep an eye out..

take him to a physical therapist, they can give him exercises to help the muscles return to his face so he looks normal again. medication and time alone may leave him with residual facial deficits.

Physical Therapist can do great things, ask his DR. to prescribes a few weeks of PT.
Four weeks of three times a week should work out great.

A friend of mine at work got / had that about 8 years ago , he looked like he had a stroke . He actually still shows signs of it . The corner of his mouth kind of curves down and his eye is slightly angled down . He has been fine ever since . His Doc said it can be caused by stress . Scary huh . So don't stress over something unless it's worth it .
