Been hearing Grumbly sounds & mumbles about the Sport Trac here in the last few months. Things like: It jus ain't my kinda car.. Eats up alota gas.. need a stool for my (short) friends to git in. Soooo

Took delivery on a 2011 Fusion LS today. Nice Car. Lotsa Bells'n Whistles, but all functional stuff. Comfortable. Quiet. Handles well. Purdy Peppy.. for a 4 cylinder.

She's Happy. (and we ALL know.. how important that is !)

and IMO they are sharp looking
sort of big and small all in the same box.
seats are comfy to

there is a reason Hyundai is building the elantra that looks very much like the fusion

Congrats Joe. I'm also hearing grumbles about our Explorer (it's too rough riding, uses lots of gas - actually gets around 17 mpg, etc.). The Fusions are nice cars but I have a hard time with rear vision in them because of the styling. My youngest son and his wife had a 2006 and put way over 100,000 miles on it (lots of miles due to her being a home health care nurse). The hybrid versions are getting lots of kudos too.

I bought my wife an 06 Fusion last month (she wrecked the taurus)... 4 banger getting 33mpg. What sold her on it was the radio controls no the steering wheel. I did hear some bad reviews on the transmission..something about the VB So I got the 2yr/24k mi warranty from the dealer.
