For what it's worth.... What I don't like about FTE is that all Powerstroke discussion is lumped into one forum, so there's a lot of confusion by newbies about whether what's being discussed can/will work on their truck. ."

That is 100% correct. When a new fella buys a wicked wheel for his 95' it just doesn't work out that well. There was a post not that long ago about fuel pump trouble and some guys got a little confused since some have older trucks and some have newer trucks. Good job on having the OBS trucks seperate...
