oil in water HELP!!!!

find out where it is coming from... ...what year truck? what motor?more info about truck is needed....

Sorry. I forgot to leave my info. It's a 2004 F350 4x4 with the 6.0 in it. Automatic transmission.

gonna have to find out where its comin' from but CERTAINLY its not
a GOOD sign....

have you pulled the dip stick ? water/bubbles on it ? steam out the
tail pipe ?

I don't have any water in the oil. I have oil in the water. I just did some studying on here and read something about people having sand in the overflow tank and that it's normal? I stuck my finger in there and the stuff was slippery.

It sounds weird but can it be that simple?

Is the junk in your overflow tank floating or sinking? If it's floating then it's oil and you should be prepared to open the checkbook wide but if it's sinking, it's sand, call up Bob Riley @ Dieselsite (they're a SDD sponsor) right away and order a coolant filter kit.

its sand and stop leak...get a coolant by-pass filter !

i looked and the stuff is floating. It looks kinda creamy also. oily to touch with a slight sticky to it. How positive are you that it's the sand?

i cant be positive...not w/out some photos or being there myself...
sounds like the sand and stop leak that i used a by-pass filter to
remove...just like so many others before you too.
