man that is one UGLY paint scheme !
Typical HD mo' chrome <wont get ya home> !

and WHY on earth did they have to stick those
letters ON the bed...pick up trucks for folks that dont
need one (or dont actually RIDE their motorcycles !)

and given the number of HD logo's on that truck
they should PAY the OWNERS a free advert. fee for
parading the thing around !

Hell, look at the Lincoln trucks, they sell those like CRAZY.

not any more they wont ;)

Sorry but im no HD fan...actually the bikes are ok its the
freekin' attitude most seem to have when they own ONE bike...
or worse WISH they owned one.

I personally wouldnt wanna be reminded <that often> that my truck
was some "edition"...its just not necessary....on the seats, on the
dash, on the gauges, on the center console...and its on the truck
no less than FIVE times !?! cripes the word FORD is only on the truck
TWICE on the outside and MAYBE once on the INSIDE (steering wheel) !

The seats are interesting...Id like 'em better if they were ALL black...
w/out any logo !

too bad i dotn own a harley. seems kind of pointless to glorify something when i dont own one. also, i can see the harley davidson emblems on the bed being stolen alot.

Does this mean that I will have to take my Harley Davidson wheels off now?

Since I dont own a HD bike? :D

well since you dont seem to have an attitude about 'em then
id say youre falling outside those that i was speaking of...

I wouldnt mind having the 2008 harley davidson truck, IF, it didnt have allthe HD stuff on it. NOW without all the badging, its a bad (& I mean bad in a good way) truck. The solid black edition is nice.

Harley.................. either you love em or ya hate em. I ride a Harley, actually two of them reside in my garage. When I bought the 06 HD Edition I wasn't per se looking for a HD Edition, I was looking for a fairly clean used 05-07 PSD crew cab with leather interior and this one happened to be available.

Whats the difference between the HD edition, the KR edition, the EB edition or the Amarillo edition? They are nothing more than a dolled up Lariat. Does that mean that everybody that drives a KR edition is a wealthy rancher? Or the EB edition owners are all snob yuppies with big fat cigars and $2500 G Loomis rods? No, I think that attitude is present regardless of the badge on the fender for most.

I've seen certain attitudes with people who have dyno'd at 500+ hp and there isn't one stink'n badge on their truck at all. I dont want to be lumped in that group either just because I have a diesel truck.

I would have bought a KR edition if that is what presented itself at the right price and time, no different than I would have purchased a Lariat. I will say that the fit and finish inside the HD is plush and is different than what is available in the Lariat.
