Blue,

Those so called check valves are in fact just restrictors. I forget who has some shots of them, but I still have mine and would be glad to disassemble them and take a pic or two ;) Instead of a "ball" replace that with a cone shapped piece with holes around the pointed part. This whole thing is spring loaded as a ball would be, but the holes alow "bleed". After I got my system in I'm fairly certain it has to do with the pulsing experianced in the fuel rail at the head. Removing these could cause some interesting ideling and I believe the only reason I don't have this problem is I have replaced the rigid fuel lines with flexiable lines and I can feel the lines expand and contract as the engine is ideling. That is what the individual at TDS had said also. He had originally pulled them out but had rough idle problems so he put them back in. I have a couple of check valves I just need to figure out how I want to plumb it now. It will be more work than originally planed but I guess that is half the fun... ...or so they say. :rolleyes:
