We got a Landseer Newfoundland from a breeder in Tennessee. He's 14 weeks old and very well behaved. He's a bit tired from the flight and all, so right now he's asleep in my lap...thinks he's a small dog.

The boys are pretty excited, especially the 7 year old. Just wait till he's on turd duty! :sweet

Named him Trooper. I figure if I get pulled over on the highway, I can yell at the "trooper" and get away with it. :thumbs

These pictures were taken after he got off the airplane in a crate for six hours. He's soft as anything after his bath!

Good Lord--your puppy is probably twice as big as Teddy will ever be.   Although I'd be willing to compare dog food bills once yours is all grown up, especially since Ted only goes through an 8-lb bag of food in ~ 1 1/2-2 months... :D :D

How's the wife like him? :D If she doesn't she'll get into him within a couple of months

My mom has a friend who once had a dog that was so ugly she named him Ugly. One of my cousins once had a deer hound (beagle) that was three legged, called him Arthmetic because he was putting down three and carrying one. That's a really cute puppy. I agree about the turd duty. You'll need to give us a report on how the kids like doing that.
