Rake's not for me

My rig has a bit more rake than I like. Most of the other trucks I see stand nice and level, so I'm wondering why mine doesn't. I'm thinking of adding about a 2" body lift on the front. Looking for some comments here on the idea and what I might be looking at on the cost.

i dont think a body lift would do it. get a leveling kit. springs.

Here's a pic of my truck post-leveling kit. I went with a Revtek 2.5" kit that came with completely new leaf spring packs, not an add-on mini pack or a drop hanger.

Leveling kit should do it, they go for around 500 so don't panic......

yet :D

yeah my f350 looked like a hot rod.... i put a fabtech 2inch front lift... still has lil slope to the front.. but thats better then slope to the back, i would prob go with 2 inch not the 2.5 , but atleast 2, just guessing, havent seen pics of ur truck

Scott,get yourself a set of V or W code springs for your Excursion and you'll be set you'll also save $150-200 in the process:sweet

I talked with my local 4WheelParts shop today. They quoted me $930 drive-out for the leveling kit. Including springs, 4 upgraded shocks, and all hardware installed.

Sound reasonable?

sounds a little high, IMO it should cost 600 or so for shocks and the kit, so you're talkin about 430 for tax and labor.

you could always do it yourself, it's a fairly easy system to put in
