Is rebuilding this differential the same as an 8.8? I have a bad case of the one wheel pig squeal and am wanting to fix it. What kind of rearend comes under these trucks anyway?
Thanks,
Jesse

Limited Slip spring packs/clutches finally wear out? Is that where this is heading?

I just did all the bearings in mine a couple months ago. Took about 3 hours and was not that bad of a job.

Woops, yes, should have been more specific. I need to rebuild the limited slip differential, will do the bearings while I'm in there.

ttt, getting a chatter when hauling a trailer and taking a tight turn under acceleration...or when I have a heavy load in the bed.

it's a breeze and can be done in the truck, with it on the tires. you'll need to unbolt the axle shafts from the hub and slide them out to allow you to get everything rotated correctly. Writeup on FDB on the 10.25 which is virtually identical
