Removing EGR System & DEF

    I made the modes on my 6.4L (2008 F250) and it was like getting a REAL truck for the small investment. My DPF failed and the cost of replacing it made the modes worthwhile for me. The only downside from my perspective was that I waited too long and missed out on the pleasure of driving a truck that had the power trucks were intended to have. I bought the SCT tuner, a EGV delete kit and a new exhaust system from Sinister Diesel. They walked me through the entire process and I did it myself. Not a bad project for a great-grandmother!

    I have a 2011 and did the delete @ about 300KM. Used the SCT Live Wire TS tuner as well. I park in a garage and although I grew up with diesel on the farm, I don't enjoy the smell in my garage. Other than that, I would never look back. Very happy with the performance, both power and improved fuel economy. My cost here in CA was $1600 and thankfully we don't have a law in Alberta against it.
