had replaced my brakes months ago, and started hearing a scraping noise when applying my brakes, went under the truck, and noticed rubbing marks onthe inside of the rims. checked the pads and discovered that i had lost the right caliper bracket bolt. but the drivers side has both bolts, but has marks on the inside also. any ideas as to the cause,:confused:http://www.superdutydiesel.com/forums/images/smilies/confused.gif

found the cause!! apparently, the bolt on the brake caliper bracket backed out, causing to rub the rim when brakes are applied. also on the drivers side, the bolt on the caliper came out. could have sworn everything was tight when i put it back together. maybe it was the antiseize.
