That should cure any naysayers. Looks like I'm headed out for more vinegar!

By the way, what little rust was left on that ball simply wiped off. ( note the dirty rag it's sitting on? )

I've alwayz heard White, Distilled vinegar works best... I know it sure works when I run it though our Coffee pots........

Apple cider. But I'm with Big Joe on this one, I think just about any kind will work.

Plus I was to lazy to run out just for vinegar!

I will add it took the WHOLE 24 hrs. 5am and it came off, but took some scrubbin. By 10 am it just wiped off.

It is not the vinegar, but the acid that is present in the vinegar, any kind.
