Well I'm working on getting out from under the 6.4. It's a good truck but, the truck payments are killing me, the mileage stinks, and I need a long bed truck and a f350 for work. I found two sweet F350 DRW and there loaded to the hill and there under 20k in $$. One a 07 the other is a 06 and the mileage in not bad too, around 15k a year each.

Looked at some 6.7 but good used ones are around 35k to 45k. The 6.7 in the lower 30k and lower were trashed like a lot of mileage. I looked at one 2011 had 325000 miles one it and looked like the guy lived in it full time.

The guy may have lived in it full time pulling trailers for a living.

That's what I was thinking. We have a few monster RV centers here and the hitches was still in some.
But I did found a 05, f350, CC, SB, DRW here. Looks really clean one owner 108000 in mileage and all dealer maintained. So going to look at it today. Truck payments are haft of what I'm paying now which would help a lot on the wife's med bills. Only four thing I don't like is no leather seats, no power seats, rubber floor, and no running boards. But those are small thing in the big photo of things. They can be added later. I just spooked about the 6.0 motor again, I can not have what happened last 6.0 I had. I can not find any 7.3 that are junked and if you find one that good. The dealers are after a mint for them. Here a good one for you. Dealer listed a 2001 F350 7.3 DRW CC loaded it has 102565 miles on it. They got it with a bad motor from in front of a guys house towed it to there dealership. There putting a new motor and trans in it, they listed it for 23k and some guy is buying it site unseen for full asking price. They paid 7K for the truck. This is how nuts it is here looking for a 7.3 truck.

Anyway here's photos of the truck I'm looking at:

Probably why I got High BB+, for my 'ol 2K ?

From my years here on SDD.. I'd be a bit 6.0 spooked too... but ya gota remember: The only 6.0's we hear about are the ones with issues.. If you campare those, to the numbers built, and still on the road.. Properly maintained.. it's a darn good engine.

If a guy could find a 6.0, with a varifiable maintinence record.. did the Head Bolts and EGR thing right away quik.. for the Price trend .. you'd be onta something ???

jus' my .02

The new truck. 2005, XL, 6.0, f350, CC, DRW, FX4. With a 12k or 15k rear hitch. It stock but not for the XL maybe for the KR trucks. This truck was just for towing, only has 2400 hours on it with a 108000 miles.
But everything on it this truck is larger then my 04 I had.
