My injectors needed replacing at 155K when I had a rough start and idle until fully warmed up. They scanned the injectors and they showed five out of eight going south. Wonder if the brass in the upper fuel bowl made its way to some injectors?? Mine showed evidence of water in fuel on the injectors. Not from me. Previous owner.
I'm hoping the brass didn't make it down there, but who knows... Truck has been good on water in fuel, seems like since they went to plastic tanks, they don't sweat as much as the old steel ones did.

I'm waiting for the weather to improve some so I can tear into it, check the Y pipe for cracks and see if that's where the whistle is coming from. Has been running ok ever since that one day, and it's seen some cold starts. 10-15 seconds of running and it settles out, and has never failed to start.
