I have a 4wd with 305x70xr16. I was wondering if their is any special rule of thumb as far as the tire rotation?

What is the recommended method? I usually do F<->B and L<->R. I haven't seem any major L <-> R wear but I still do it just because I have always done it that way.

Bushpilot is correct... cross the fronts to the rear and rotate the rears directly to the front

I normally do the same thing... cross the fronts to the rear and rotate the rears directly to the front

Just out of curiosity, why would you not cross the tires? I not seen any extra wear because of this so I'm just wondering what the thought process is behind it.

Thanks
