67k is crazy, I get 16 - 20 on my 10 ply, thats with a commercial rated tire which has 3ply sidewall.

truth...still got em on there....theyre down to the wear bar now
but no cords or slick spots on 'em @ all.

i probably should have pulled 'em around 62k but ive had a couple
of INTERSTATE runs (asheville nc to get a car & omaha ne to get
a motorcycle).

theyre the longest wearing tire ive EVER owned...E rated or otherwise !

Also, with those big rig tires, what if you get in your backyard in the rain (if 2wd) or need to pull something through some mud (4wd) don't those bog rig tires suck for anything off the road?
Just wondering,

theyre BFGoodrich rugged trail T/A
265/75r16's (load range E)

as supplied by the factory...ive done MAYBE 3 burn-outs...and
im not crazy about rotating 'em...in 67k miles theyve probably been
rotated 4 times maybe 5, TOPS.

They loud?
Jesse

if they are i wouldnt know it now....what w/ all the
hushmat ive got installed in my doors/roof & walls :D

my wife says our truck is LEXUS quiet...and others that
have ridden in our truck have said its quiet...and powerful
for a Diesel :D

theyre not loud, imo, i suspect your engine is a
bigger source of noise (remember im in a comparatively
SILENT 6.0L).

interestingly enough...i havent had a SINGLE FLAT <sound of knocking
on wood>...and ive been driving around w/ a nail in one of the tires
for over 12k miles...Ive been carrying a plug kit and small compressor
sinced ive seen the nail but havent bothered to pull it out....it might
not even be THRU the tire (cause its not leakin' down)

Please pardon the thread hi-jack!

I drove my own rig OTR for many years. If that nail isn't thru yet, it probably will end up there. The rubber (tire) will wear faster than the iron (nail), and the nail will push further in. IMHO, better to deal with it now, that deal with it later. Especially if it is on the steer axle! Nails have a way of doing more damage than we realize as the tire flexes. Your problem may reveal itself in the way of a BLOW-OUT, rather than a slow leak!

Just sharing my experience~
