Found out that my 93 has a different wiring harness under the dash, than the 97. So I had to order a new harness to adapt my Kenwood to the factory harness. SO the advice I got was correct. A standard radio should plug into the factory harness before the amp. The plugs from the amp to the radio differ from the harness under the dash. Harness should be here by the end of the week. Thanks for all the help.
