Is the sub just sitting between the front and rear seats:dunno

sure looks like it....you can see it sitting behind the passenger seat
in the "amp" photo...

i mean he didnt even cut cut the tail off the tie wraps !

hes got the ground for the capacitor "hanging" out in thin
air and then attached to the loops on the rear cab wall !

i mean look at the mounting & wiring hes got up front for the
cb radio & bear-tracker...sheesh !

the power distribution block isnt even COVERED...talk about
DANGEROUS !

so much for flippin' the seats down to put stuff on top huh !

i cant believe crutchfield would even want that "install" associated
with their company...much less post photos of it on their web site !

I'll be a shoe-in for posting my photos & install !

you see it right...mounted to the rear of the seats !

its not so much the mounting of it to the rear of the seats
(although it doesnt seem to be the smartest mounting location,
much less the "conventional" location that most use).

he's also committed the cardinal sin of running power, signal and
SPEAKER lines together...and if that werent enough hes TIE WRAPPED
'em together (i have to wonder if hes TRYING to pick up noise using
this install/method).

look at the wire...thin gauge...junk...looks like he grabbed what ever he
had lying around...wanna bet its spliced together and not a continuous run ?

apparantly crutchfield lets you post photos of your system...
for some obvious reasons they APPROVE the submission before
posting it on their web site (someone had to approve that dudes
install...AFTER reviewing it) !

when i saw it last night on crutchfields web site i felt compelled to
send in my install photos (that guy is giving superduty trucks a
bad name w/ that install) ;)

I've seen your photos of the install. Its meticulous. This thing is a disaster. On a KR, no less. What a shame.

well by no means is my install any more perfect than i am :innocent

theres just no excuse (in my mind) for having so little pride in your
work...as this guy has done w/ his install...we've all thrown stuff
together in a hurry <pending trips do that to us> but c'mon....

even when i posted photos of the spaghetti wiring/mess it was w/
some purpose and as a joke...no way would i have left yall w/ those
photos burnt in your mind ;)

anyone can do this stuff...and certainly all it takes is a little pride,
willingness to take a chance & the ablity to ask friends for HELP.
