This is just something I have had on my mind, bought the stuff months ago to do this with, but never got around to doing it.

I was walking around in Lowe's checking out the gutters and I saw these and it immediately hit me, that would make a great ZooDad inlet/grill/cover, whatever you want to call it.

The parts are actually down spout connectors, they attach the down spout to the gutter.

So I bought 2 of them at 1.29 each.

First of all, if you have already cut your zoodad hole, just figure out how long you need to cut each of them to make one inlet/grill/cover.
You can also cut the zoodad hole wider if needed. If you have never done the zoodad, then you could just use 1 of the down spout connectors and screw it into the header panel.

Here are steps I took to make it.

1. Mark your cut lines with a Sharpie.

2. Cut the down spouts with a Dremel tool. (be sure to file down all sharp edges)

3. Do a mock-up alignement, to make sure its just the way you want it.

4. Next I scuffed up each piece with some 240 sand paper (prep for paint)

5. After scuffing them up, I attached both pieces with some pop-rivets.

6. After you have attached them together, do a dry-fit to make sure it fits the hole you have cut in the header panel.

7. Next, use whatever paint or coating you desire. I used a Rubberized Undercoating from 3M.
You can also add a screen over the inlet to keep bugs and road gunk out.

8. Last of all, screw it into place and re-install your grill.

I have a radiator fin tool, but I couldnt find it.

I knew bush would be the first person to say something about it.

Tbar, I almost got out the Bad Dog Polish to shine it up real good,
but I didnt want it sticking out like a sore thumb.
