I went back to the first post and edited it. I forgot about adding the screen to the front of the inlet (thanks BIG JOE for reminding me).

So a couple of new pics added to it.

Gonna try and work on that bush, it does look ugly.

Question: is it possible to do some paint touch up (spray it with some flat black or something) to make the color look better?

Bama,
I used this and it worked very well. The only thing is, for the ones of us that still have the original air filter the air horn hits pieces and will need a little trimming. This was a great idea. I pained mine with flat black outdoor paint and it looks great.

newt92 Great job Bama!! Might have to try that.

Thank you Sir. The Zoodad itself is free and less than 10.00 for the inlet & grill. I like those kind of mods.

Bama,
I added some pics to my Gallery. I can not figure out how to add them to this thread though. I used some smaller mesh screen than you did and did some trimming on the back side to keep it from rubbing on the air filter horn and opened it up a little too.

Looks good Andy. I didnt realize the neck of the OEM filter system
stuck out that far.

BTW, I put your pictures in your post for ya.

What city is KB over in GA?

man the fins on that radiator sure are beat to hell !
look at all the bugs clogging it TOO !

They don't have big bugs in Texas, Bush?

Some of the flying critters in L.A. (lower Alabama) and Alabama proper are so big the government issues them tail numbers and gives them priority air traffic control clearance!:D
