Need to look close at the wire bundle as it travels down the frame rail from the engine compartment back. Another way to check this would be to check each pin on the 7 pin connector to ground. if there is a short it will/should register there.

I'm a little nervous about opening up my idm to do the 140v mod. What is the easiest way to get to the idm? I've heard that it is located under the drivers side inner fender. Is this really such a simple mod? I'm very mechanically inclined and do almost all of the work on my truck. I just don't want to mess that idm up because I know it cost a lot to replace.

Hey, just picked up my first Super Duty. A diesel F350, crew cab, long bed 4x4. I blew a tire on the interstate 5 days later. Can I fit a 315/75R16 on this truck as it sits stock without causing any rubbing or cutting?

Hello to all super duty members.I have a 2006 F350 diesel super duty. I've been a gm man all my life, but was introduced to the super duty in 2006 and fell in love with it. My friend and I build Factory Five Racing kit cars. So far we have built five, and we trailer them all over the country to car shows. we pull a 28' enclosed trailer, and have done it all in the Ford. The truck has 130,000 miles on it and more than half are towing miles. I can't stress the dependability of this truck enough. It has never broken down or given us a seconds worry. We have gone on trips for as much as 3000 miles in seven days without a single worry. The truck is extremely well maintained, it has a Banks cool air system and an Edge powertrain system. I can't imagine a finer truck for our purposes. Thank you Steve
