Well to start with you need to be running 5w40 Syn oil and Ford or Racor filters only to keep down stiction and cokeing your injectors will like it. If it runs bad at start up i would think it is the ficm then after it warmup it runs better, do you have good batteries in it because bad or weak...

Is this a stock oil filter cap and Motorcraft filter plus you need some gauges that work not the ones in the dash when they move it is to late.

You must be missing something any 6.0 can run the EGT pyro just need to drill the hole and plug into the Edge get the expandable to add stuff down the line. This is a must if you pull heavy even if you do not, need for cool down 350*-360* before you turn the key off.

X2 that dealer is a idiot if the egr cooler and oil cooler were replaced did they do a coolant flush, need gauges to tell ECT-EOT 6.0 max is 15* i think 10* the oil cooler is almost plugged from silicate drop out from the Ford coolant in the 6.0 it sucks.

This is what i got for the fuel pressure gauge, it goes into the test port, this is a cool set up gets the sender away from the heat and viberation of the motor.

Well if you do a lot of looking and reading the Edge tunes suck for most they are trany killers but they do have a great gauge. The Edge Insight CTS with the expandable pyro is the only way to go that way you are able to add different things to it. With 45K you have a good one check the ECT-EOT...
If you are running the Ford Gold junk coolant i would not go over 3hrs because it is 1500wt heater and you may cook the coolant and the silicates drop out even more to help plug the oil cooler. If using the CAT EC-1 Rated coolant you don't have that problem plus over 3hrs a waste of money.

As Dave said it could be fuel filters, was it weak turning over then started or started and just ran bad for about 20 sec, both are bad on injectors.
