    Excursion roof weight rating?

    I have a 2001 excursion that I want to add a “metal roof rack” - deck to sit on with chairs . Anyone know how much weight can be put up there, I plan to build something similar to what is pictured here

    Search has narrowed down some, 8.5x24- all I have found have 5200lbaxles with 8ply tires, 48" Side doors, one company has z track tie down in addition to the standard 4 d ring tie downs- all seem to be market rate -new 6800.00
