Where to buy 2008 differential cover?

Its really not that bad to pull the cover to drain the fluid, especially when the gasket is just sillycone. Think Ill rattle can my cover flat black. It would be nice for someone with a temp sender to post some before and after temps with steel cover and aluminum cover.

    Hyster cab lift

:dunno Could a guy simply remove the front bumper, and front tires, slip some square tubing of the proper size and thickness over the forks, weld verticle supports to the fork extensions under the cab mounts, lift from the front and remove the cab for the cost of 18' or so of tubing plus an hour...

    head gaskets

Here is my feeble attempt at understanding..... In order for your truck to go faster than stock you have to change the engines operating parameters (there are many ways to add more power than stock This is extremely simplified.). To add power you must add more fuel and air than factory...

    High engine OIL temp

Replaced it. Its under the oil filter. Apparantly its not that uncommon for them to clog up. The tech wanted to check mine while it was towing, since thats when it was acting up. It sounded like the coolant passages clogged, not the oil passages.

My engine oil temp reached 285 degrees F. At that point the tech said he didnt need any more evidence, and diagnosed a restricted oil cooler.

    Tranny trouble

So, the snapring was a forward drive clutch snapring, nothing ever mentioned in any TSB or recall. The tech said it was just a fluke failure. He had'nt seen any before and said these trannys (torqueshift) are pretty tough. Oh well three grand worth of oh well.
