sounds like you may have alreay fixed the problem and the truck now runs fine?? did any body clear codes after the new CPS went in and the trouble went away?? them codes will stay for ever unless they get cleard....like i said in my last post...if you think you fixed the truck and she is running...- early 99 stroker

yes OP = original poster if this is the first time you checked for codes and the truck runs fine..just clear them and see if any of them comes back in a couple day's.. then tell us what code comes up and what was the truck doing when it happend... if you checked them because your truck...- early 99 stroker

Announcement Fuel system
pulling the check valves out of the pump does the same thing as the HPX..adding the HPX gives you 2 more chances for an oil leak...- early 99 stroker

I found my power loss between trucks
it still has to get through the IC before it gets to the heads any way's...them tubes in the IC are not all that big...i would still change the oil right off though..the 38R spools faster and flow's 33% more air then stock and handle up to 40 LB of boost.i see about 200* drop in EGT's with...- early 99 stroker

I found my power loss between trucks
if it was the exhaust side of the turbo the only place the parts can go is out the tail pipe....if it was the composure side it would have to pass though the intercooler then past the screen in the plenums before it could go to the motor...- early 99 stroker

i would go with the 38R..faster spool for better take off's and hill climbs...flows 33% more air for better power and cooler EGT's and very hard to make it surge....- early 99 stroker

a bad boost leak should not make it idle bad..it should just loose power and smoke..but the bang does sound like one came undone.. IMHO friends don't let friends buy silicone boots..when the silicone softens from oil and/or heat you will need to re tighten..you will need to keep an eye on them...- early 99 stroker

you can keep the hubs locked in year round if you want..it wont hurt a thing but your MPG...mine stay locked all winter long unless I'm going on a long trip...you don't want to pull the transfer case in 4x4 on dry black top and take turns..that's when chit breaks..if your going in a strait line...- early 99 stroker

i had one on my truck and it has never been hit by anything...the only thing i dont like about it is when a cooling jet or something falls off inside the pan you will never know it cause it wont go though the drain valve..they are also not magnetized to catch any parts or any shavings that may...- early 99 stroker

check for boost leaks...silicone boots like to leak when boost gets higher..i see he has a RBP 6" exhaust listed in his sig... is it 6 inch or a 5 inch with a six inch tip?? what size down pipe? got a muffler?.. it sounds like you may be running out of oil in the higher RPM's..a set of...- early 99 stroker
