ok here is an update, i got the fuel bowl to fill, it just took some cranking so i filled the back tank with good fuel, pulled the fuel filter and put some air pressureon the tank to purge what bad fuel might have been in the fuel lines, still no start. the truck will try to start on ether, but...- pawsranch3

will a motor out of a school bus work
when i pulled my valve covers it was obvious that i have water mixing with my oil, the coolant is a dirty brown color and pressurized, as well as there is a loud knock coming from somewhere. my friend has this moter that he said i could have so i figure that i will pull this engine and swap it...- pawsranch3

will a motor out of a school bus work
this motor is out of a schoolbus that is sitting over at my friends house the but has less than 100k miles on it and has been maintained by the local mech. here in town. i dont know the year until tomorrow but if it is a 94.5- 97 will it still work?- pawsranch3

i have access to a lower mileage 7.3 powerstroke motor out of a school bus. this motor is currently in a pickup truck with a bad transmission but the owner said that i can have it. will this work in my 2000 psd- pawsranch3
