I bought a grill cover for those teens to below zero temps... My heater works great until it gets that cold.... Then no cabin heat...none...zippo.... put the cover on and aaaaahhhhhhhhh...HEAT! Do i have a problem too or is that the nature of the diesel beast?
We use to recomment cleaning and repacking, if still good, the wheel bearings and replace the wheel seals before 100K miles..... Mine has 88 k and i think it's due!
WHat does it heat anyway?
So what does the block heater heat? Anybody know? Mine sparks when I plug it in and if left plugged in overnight starts right up I guess it doesn't heat the water though because the heater is cold? AND....I have to plug it in overnight. A couple of hours does not...
My wierd whistle was pressure being released from my degas cap because of my blown headgasket! Did it for over a year until I blew my intercooler. That's when I found it. Good luck. Hope it's simple
New heads run great up and down the mountain with the 3500lb camper and towing the wrangler. I do have a kinda backfire from the intake when letting of the accelerator whenunder a load. Any ideas? Does it stock and with my diablosport tow tune. In carson city nevada.... Next stop. Vegas
wait until it's dark, then go searching the engine compartment with a good flashlight. The daytime is the wrong time to search....Ambient light makes it hard to see...You should be able to see alot more...That's how I found my leak.....
I guess you could hit your local Junk Yard..........check the prices and maybe get to see what it came off of...or ebay has quite a few of them....I need to replace my stabilizer....i'm sure it's not helping the wear on my gear box...Good luck....
Anyone know what the difference in appearance is between the ARP head studs and stock....AND, do you get new studs when you get a new head? I got home from the 6,100 dealer trip and found my arp box on the floor with nicely bubble wrapped head bolts.....I just wonder if they gave the the ones...
