    Sigh...it used to try to kick in/out of lockup at part-throttle 45ish mph increasing load...now it seems to really want to stutter in/out of lockup during that situation (and only that situation).     He flushed the fluid and it came out a purplish color. Added a quart of the Lucas stuff and it is still doing it. He said that it seems as if 1st or 2nd gear is just holding for too long...until you let off the gas (sticking valvebody?) How would I go about checking/fixing/inspecting a vb...

    As soon as the TC locks up, it's solid...it's the actual gear that slips. If I get on it about 1/2ish throttle, it will pull fine until about 2k and then I can start to feel it slipping. I have an aftermarket TC. All other gears are fine, I think it's just 1st gear. Jesse

    Ummm, as much as can be shipped for as cheaply as possible:) I don't think I can use the bend that goes over the axles because it is crimped in to go around the spare, but if the price is right I can make it work. I think the downpipe is 3" and I can also use some 3", so...which arm you...

    I was told if the injector o-rings are bad the fuel filter will be black? I've done no testing of the gp's...I don't know how to jump the relay or what it does and I have no idea what a VC harness is. Thanks guys, Jesse

    Engine turns over very fast and it has always done it...well...I've had it two winters and it has done it both of them. Anything above 30* and it will start up one cycle first try. Still think glow plugs? What's the life expectancy on those thigns anywho? Jesse

    And when I mean smoke, I mean you can't see through it:) Looks like I'm dusting for skeeters. I crank it for not even 10 seconds, then the second time it normally catches enough cylinders to run and I then let it idle until it smooths out, but it doesn't catch all cylinders until about 1-2...
