    Overboost Annihilator Kit?

    i have gotten an overboost code once. you don't really need an overboost annihilator on these trucks though. i have an edge and have never had a problem with overboosting. upgrade those split shots to single shot stage 1's and you will be a lot better off. :sly

    oh, ok. i'm going to learn a lot more about these engines when i build this engine. now it's turning out to be a big deal between my brother and i on who's truck is going to pull better and be faster after we build the engines for them. cummins vs powerstroke. LoL

    thanks Luke, that turbo info was exactly what i was looking for. why would i need to drop the compression? i'm new to the lower compression stuff on these things. the only thing i know about it is people do it when they are using a lot of nitrous or something in those high horsepower trucks.

    6.4 twins on a 7.3

    the 6.4 twins are actually pulling quite a bit of boost for stock turbos. if i remember correctly matt spartan has a 6.4 over 600hp on stock injectors and turbos so the turbos must be making some good boost numbers to put down 600hp.

    i was thinking of using the cpr fuel system from dieselsite, but i think it can only run up to 220cc injectors and the diy stage 3 injectors flow 230cc. so i'm not sure if i will have trouble with that extra 10cc more. i may just get the beans fuel system. I'm very interested to see what can...

    i will not be getting a turbo housing since the downpipe and chip will spool the stocker up a lot faster. How long is too long to run our stock turbos at 28psi??? cuz i have held mine at 28psi for about 5 seconds and let off since the EGT's were about to hit 1200*.

    the stage 1's were a HUGE improvement even with the edge programming. the truck is a completely different rig now, i can easily smoke out the highway, but the smoke is controllable even on the extreme program and EGT's are easily controlable as well. ;tu
