    Hello Jim...I have used PetroCan Synthetic for about 5 years now..switched from Mobil Synthetic....I generally run a good 20,000 Ks between changes n oil still comin out the color of honey with the engine nearly at 400,000..never adding between changes. Also....it's $6 a litre versus ?

    re bushings the bushings on my 04 were replaced (Ford at the dealership..I know but it was toooo darn cold) at very low mileage and that sure fixed the "banging noise at every little bump". Have put a ton of miles on since and no problems with the replacements. I would have preffered the ones...

    hey all I don't know of any engine changes either but, but, my 06 with 3.73s will eat my 04 with 4.10s all day untill I flip the switch on the tuner..both trucks are essentially the same otherwise..go figure..would have thot the 4.10s would have gotten the nod Be well!

    Timbren, Firestone, or Air Lift Airbags

    Firestone is what I use on my 04 and 06 F350s plus an 02 Dodge 3500...we have a dedicated trip of 800 miles daily...all kinds if weather conditions and as much as 6000 lbs of payload plus an auxillary 90 gal fueltank and no problems.     COLDDD!!

    Try this....when your temps start to get chilly, (we sometimes get cold here in Manitoba), try cycling the glow-plugs 2 or 3 times. I just thought about plugging mine in the other morning when we were experiencing a -40 wind-chill. Works for me. I also run synthetic oil in everything. Be well!

    Diesel fuel or furnace oil.

    Here in Manitoba..seems one has to add antijell to the furnace fuel to keep it from jelling....aside from that there is the road-tax issue that's already been mentioned..that would take care of any savings you might have, lol.
