    Indeed, I thought about that and multiple other options of what I can do. I figured I'd just remove a little material off the ends of the pads themselves, that or throw the ones that still had plenty of pad left, save the work for another day.

    I got my key fobs in today from the Dealer as promised, they gave me an installation sheet on how to activate that mode to set the fob(s).. says to turn key ignition on then off 8 times, ending in ignition on within 10 seconds. I'm not really getting anywhere, is this the correct procedure?
