    I would double that. We have an 04 VW Jetta diesel that gets 40-47 mpg and has plenty of pep. They are a little more than the 3-5k but this car pays for itself in the Fuel savings. There are plenty of gas cars that get 30 mpg too and will do the job just fine.

    Bama, I used this and it worked very well. The only thing is, for the ones of us that still have the original air filter the air horn hits pieces and will need a little trimming. This was a great idea. I pained mine with flat black outdoor paint and it looks great. Andy

    First Oil Change

    I too am new. My 06 PSD is getting close to it first oil change and I want to use the Synthetic oils in it. Is any one else using Synthetic 5W-40 in their truck and can you tell a difference in MPG and power? I use ELF 5W-40 in my VW diesel and that is what is required by the factory.
