    Ordered my new rear pinion seal. This ought to be a lot of fun. Well, a learning experience at least. Then on to the front end bushings, ball joints, tie-rods, bearings maybe. :D

    From what I read, Bilstein shocks are the way to go. Lots of members here have them I'm sure they will chime in. I have Bilsteins on my Christmas list. :D

    I'm paranoid. I flushed mine with distilled water. 20 gals at the store was 20 bux. And I know its clean water. Then refilled with IH Fleetguard. I went the concentrated route. That way after the antifreeze was all in and then the water added, I knew I had 50/50. No chance of having water left...

    Wow lemme know how that works out. I have NO room for one in my truck. It probably doesnt get near as hot in SC ( but I bet its close ) as it might in TX, but I ran my tymar all summer and never had a heat problem. My EGT's actually dropped. You having heat issues?

    I saw these seals on TV called SEALS-IT. Kind of a triple seal deal that racers use. Anyone used these? They are only like 30 bux or so. While I'm tearing mine apart to do the same thing I'm gonna get the best. I'm sure i only want to do this ONCE.

    Will do Dave. Thanks. Im assuming when my batteries went bad some acid got blown around? There was some in the bottom of both trays. if that's all it is then no biggy. WHEWWWW! I had never seen that before and was getting a little anxious.

    Washed and waxed the truck. Found my first leak ( GRRRR ). 1 drop of gear oil under the front passenger side.
