What are you hoping to gain? It doesn't change the truck's GVWR, and two of those 315/75R16E tires will support the DRW-equivalent payload.- u2slow

'06 receiver hitch Q's...
The factory receiver hitch on my bro's '06 F350 has some strange specs. You can only pull 15k# with a suitably rated 2.5" tube hitch. If you adapt down to a 2" tube, you can only go to 12.5k#. For the life of me I cannot find any sort of 2.5" tube hitch that is rated more than 12.5k. I can...- u2slow

2006 F350 4x4 Camper Package.
I read somewhere about dealers swapping in the 2" shorter F250 blocks into the F350 for customers intending to pull a 5'er. BTW: Camper package (afaik) refer to a slide-in camper specifically - not trailers, 5'ers, etc.- u2slow

The starting and shutdown clatter was wild. I had a used 99+ flywheel installed with the LUK clutch (the one from the SMFW kit ;) )- u2slow
