    The cooler has 2 barbs going towards the ground and your hoses run parallel to the ground so it might be easier. Also, you need to reduce the hose size from 1/2 to 3/8

    That is why I schedule my repairs so they usually are after lunch or start a little before lunch to end after lunch. Then I ask the tech if he would like to discuss the repair over lunch.

    Not sure I want to try to get the cab off the truck in my garage. I will send it to the shop for that. I usually send the shops piddly stuff to establish a good relationship with the tech and weed out those I don't want touching my truck. Also I will check on it with some surprise visits.

    I would because I have done that quite often. I have, for instance, brought OEM parts I got cheaper to the dealership for install. The stipulation is that if it breaks, you go chase the seller down. I only warranty my work and we sign off on that in the RO.

    I have used the new ULSD with no real issues. The worst thing is that it might cause some loss of life. However the cost of the additives won't pay for the cost of lifespan, IMO. So, is it worth it to spend $500 to save $300?

    I wouldn't bother with the deep pan. It has been hashed and rehashed and rehashed again and again. Bottom line is one of the posters was an engineer for Ford who has done the measurements with thermal probes. No effect with the deep pan or shallow pan.
