    You dont think you can get 500hp outta a 6.0?? Come on now, you could make a perfectly reliable 700 hp 6.0... Just a thought. But yeh you could sell that pretty easy i would think.

    Get an oasis report. That will tell you the service history. If its been in multiple times, run away. If its been clean its ok. 03's and 04's were the worst ones, but there are many good ones outta those years.

    If were counting time, the 08 has been out for almost 2 years. So its been out longer the the 6.0 when it got better.

    Different whistle. The 04's werent even close to 03's. The next 6.0 i get will have the 03 turbo on it! I love that whistle!

    Yeh white smoke is not really an issue. pretty well every diesel i have had will do this when its cold out. It quits when its warmed up. Its when its blue is when you need to be concerned. Kinda like my stupid piece of crap dmax is doing!!

    Cold trannys will do stuff like that, thats why its good to let them warm up. Or you have a problem! Mine does that same thing, Its a Duramax tho..

    No the dealer fixed it...He went ahead and took it to the dealer because another friend said its definately the turbo. Ford house found the fuel filters with oil and gunk on em. (We just changed the filters 4k miles ago) He was clearly getting bad diesel. Ford house said: we need to change em...

    Id take an 08 over an 04 anyday...just remember 03 and 04 6.0's have the most complaints.

    Its crew cab not super crew, but anyways, as far as i know you just pull the diff cover off, drain. Then you have to get the old glue off then re apply. Then add oil. simple and easy.
