Upgrading to a larger tire
I have a 2007 SD that has the 20" tires. They're LT 275/65-20. Anyone know if you can go to a LT 325/60-20 tire on the factory rims. I don't know the rim width. Plus when I go to the larger tire will the Ford Dealer have to recalibrate the speedometer or does the computer recalculate it on...- FordPSD6.0

This will make you sick.
Mine is a 2007 but after seeing this it makes me sick especially when the warranty is up. These manufacturers gotta come up with better ways to access mechanical problems. They know many of us like doing our own work and this sure would drive me away if I had to pay the expense. 08 F350...- FordPSD6.0

Wiring new alternator
I just installed a new 200 amp alternator on my PSD 6.0. Should I upgrade the cables from the alternator to the battery? Must it go through a voltage regulator or can I run a cable directly from the alternator to the Positive on both batteries? What about fusing the cables? Thanks- FordPSD6.0

I hope Ford reads this.....
because the time has come to make the front end of their SDs tilt forward. No more hoods. I want a tilting front end so you can access the engine. Waving a hand from the Jersey shore.
Hello SD and diesel owners. I had a 1989 Chevy 1500 for 8 years, 1997 F150 4x4 XLT for 10 years and now a 2007 F250 Lariat PSD 6.0 4x4. I've had it 7 months and I don't think I could ever go back to an F150. I just hope it's as dependable as my other 2 trucks!!:thumbs- FordPSD6.0
