What are safe running temps? (egt)
Does any body know what the hottest EGTs can be run in the 6.4L? I was told 1400 deg. Is this right? I am running sct with only the dpf delete pipe, with a Man. 6 speed. 3:73gears. Clicking and pinging from rear end
I recently traded my 08 in for an 09 f-350 six speed manual trans diesel due to too many problems.09 has 373 gears, and have 6000 mi on it now. what size is the down pipe 08 6.4L
is there any one out there that knows the size of the down pipe (OEM). to me it looks bigger than 3.5" but i would rather find out from some one that knows for sure. i am looking at going to 4" or 5" but i am not sure yet what to start with depending on what is there. finally SCT sent me a tune...- MURR3061

Question Can cold weather cause CEL?
I was wondering if any one has experienced this on the 6.4L. Last night it got down to about 14 below zero with the wind chill. I purchased a superchips cortex 1950 about three weeks ago, I noticed a very nice gain in power and the truck runs very nice, even with the regen system.
